A flexible way to recognise and reward small steps of achievement, with a focus on personalised learning and progression

 

How does it work?

Lifeskills Challenge offers an online bank of Challenges for learners working from pre-Entry to Level 2. Challenges are designed to structure learning and demonstrate achievement in a range of curriculum areas that are important for success in adult life – from communication and problem solving, to IT and employability.

Tutors can choose from existing Challenges created by experienced ASDAN practitioners, or write and submit their own.

Centres can recognise and reward learners' achievements with ASDAN certification for completed challenges. There is also the option of downloading a simple Statement of Achievement for each learner.

  • Train

    Learn to use the system and how to write and submit your own Challenges

  • Select

    Search for and download suitable Challenges, or write and submit your own for approval

  • Register

    Register learners' names in order to download your chosen Challenges

  • Teach

    Teaching and learning take place as learners complete the Challenges

  • Claim

    List completed Challenges, request a quality check and claim certificates for your learners
