The learner can:
- Discuss with others how often and how they access news
- State the different sources of news e.g. radio, newspaper, television, Internet, phone
- Recall three key facts of a news event on three separate occasions
- Using text or symbols to construct a simple sentence for each event, considering event, place and people involved
- Discuss a news event with others and respond to any questions
