Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Use a Mitre saw box correctly to make at least one 90 degree angle cut in a piece of wood
    • Use a Mitre saw box correctly to make at least one 45 degree angle cut in a piece of wood
    • Secure one piece of wood in a table vice appropriately, with minimal assistance
    • Secure a second piece of wood using an appropriate method of attachment e.g. screw, nail, glue
