Independent living and housing

This pathway supports young people to live as independently as is possible. It covers all aspects of independent living and home management from budgeting and cooking to knowing what sources of support are available in the local community.

The learner will research and comment on different makeup looks and create at least four makeup looks for different occasions.

Th learner will experience and participate in a range of leisure activities and be encouraged to express their preferences. They will participate in a sound walk to develop their listening skills.

The learner will handle items bought in a shop whilst they are being counted, they will seek to find one the same and will indicate largest and smallest of the same object.

The learner will be able to take part in a mini enterprise project over a period of at least ten hours, be responsible for appropriate tasks and provide good customer service.
