What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Describe what a 'fashion week collection' is and its purpose (e.g. showcasing a designer’s vision, creating a cohesive series of outfits)
- Research and name at least two famous fashion week collections
- Select a theme for your collection (e.g. futuristic, floral, urban chic, etc.)
- Consider how the theme will influence the colour, style, and accessories of each outfit
- Design three outfits that fit within your chosen theme
- Ensure each outfit shares a unifying element (e.g. a common colour, pattern, or style) to create a cohesive collection
- Include at least one accessory in each outfit to complete the look
