The learner can:

    • Follow a short sequence of instructions given verbally whilst preparing for a planned event
    • Research a favourite form of entertainment in the community using a brochure, website or newspaper
    • Compose and write a simple letter inviting someone to a planned event
    • Read the time on an analogue clock in o'clock, half past and quarter past/to
    • Find the price and time for an event or form of entertainment in a brochure or on a website
    • Apply knowledge of fractions, whole, halves, quarters, whilst serving food during a planned event
