Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State who the toy is intended for eg. a person, a pet, if a person state the age and why they were chosen
    • Identify at least five different fabrics
    • Describe the texture of each fabric
    • Identify whether the fabrics are suitable for the intended purpose and give reasons
    • Design a toy using at least two different types of fabrics
    • Make a labelled drawing of a toy, including details such as the types of fabric and measurements
