Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Research three different countries and state three key features of each country eg national flag, national dish, national dress
- Represent information learnt in a diagram format eg table of differences
- Identify and demonstrate making a traditional dish from the country
- Take part in an event that celebrates the culture of a specific country, eg making decorations, practising a traditional dance, producing a piece of artwork to represent a key feature of the country
- Use three key words or phrases eg verbal or pictorial, to communicate simple greetings or information in the relevant language
