Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State at least three areas of the home and explore how each area needs cleaning eg bedroom, kitchen, bathroom
    • Identify at least three items or surfaces that need to be cleaned in each area eg carpets, bedding, surfaces, cupboards, oven, microwave, sink, shower, bath
    • Identify three pieces of cleaning equipment used to clean three different areas of the home
    • Explore and use cleaning equipment eg vacuum, duster, mop to clean an area of the home
    • Ensure equipment is clean and safely put away
