The learner will:

  2. Write a simple recount based on personal experience.

The learner can:

    • Listen to two or three texts in this genre
    • Discuss relevant titles for recount texts
    • Use simple adjectives to describe senses in a discussion 
    • Link feelings to a specific event or experience
    • Recognise and identify captions and/or labels
    • Write an appropriate title
    • Use simple adjectives to describe senses
    • Link feelings to a specific event and/or experience
    • Order events chronologically
    • Write in 1st person
    • Use simple time connectives
    • Write in simple sentences using capital letters and full stops
    • Label or caption a photograph or illustration
