The learner can:

    • Listen to two fantasy fiction texts
    • Describe a fantasy character in a familiar story
    • Describe a fantasy setting in a familiar story
    • Recall the main problem or conflict in a fantasy story 
    • Create a fantasy character using creative techniques (drawing, painting, collage, digital media, etc.)
    • Create a mask or props appropriate for one character
    • Practice dialogue and/or actions appropriate to one character
    • Act out a scene in the role of one character
