The learner can:

    • Listen to two or three autobiographies
    • Orally describe their appearance in simple and compound sentences
    • Talk about personal memories, beliefs, values and/or achievements
    • Talk about key significant life events
    • Use adjectives to describe their experience in simple and compound sentences
    • Record memories, beliefs, values and/or achievements
    • Use adjectives to describe significant life events
    • Structure writing in short topic paragraphs
    • Use 1st person, past tense consistently
    • Write in an internal tone
    • Use a range of punctuation including speech marks and exclamation marks
