The learner can:

    • Interact with at least five different solids, using their hands or feet
    • Complete a simple table using their preferred method of communication identifying simple properties of the solids eg hardness, shape, colour
    • Explore at least five liquids using their senses of touch, sight, smell and where safe taste
    • Complete a simple table using their preferred method of communication identifying simple properties of the liquids eg smell, colour
