What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Describe the transfer of energy for at least three separate appliances e.g. kettle, electricity to heat and sound
- Identify three appliances that use lots of energy in the home
- Describe what a heat pump is and why they are useful
- Describe the possible wastage of energy in at least three separate appliances
- Identify which appliances in their home waste the most energy
