What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify and name two different household appliances
- Match symbols to recognise their use e.g., vacuum cleaner to vacuuming, toaster to making toast
- Identify dangers associated with at least three appliances
- Identify the plug and plug in an appliance
- Switch on an appliance
- Switch off and unplug an appliance
