What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Select a journey.
    • State the purpose of the journey and the intended destination.
    • State when the journey should take place.
    • Decide on 3 different transport options for the journey.
    • Identify the route for each transport option using a different type of map for each route if appropriate (e.g. google, road, bus, tube).
    • Find out how long it takes for each transport option to reach the destination.
    • Find out the likely cost of each journey.
