The learner will:
Know what items of clothing and equipment are needed in order to take part in the activity
Prepare for the activity when in the changing rooms

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify specialised clothing needed for the swimming activity (swimming costume, swimming cap, goggles)
- Identify any equipment or belongings that may also be needed (towel, money, sports bag, buoyancy aid, soap, shampoo, brush, comb etc)
- Enter an individual cubical / area and ensure privacy
- Remove clothing
- Put on swimsuit
- Place all items of day clothing in locker or secure area and lock.
