What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State the two dates of Roman arrival in Britain
    • State where the Romans landed in Britain
    • State the names of the Emperors at the times of the Roman arrival in Britain
    • Identify on a map at least six Roman British settlements
    • Identify on a map at least one area of Britain which was not settled by the Romans
