The learner will:

  1. Be able to identify the most appropriate community organisation as a source of help for a given problem

  2. Know how to contact five different community organisations that help people

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • identify the most appropriate organisation to provide help and advice for five given problems e.g. your landlord has doubled your rent; you are travelling abroad and need some injections; your neighbour has noisy parties every Friday; your motorbike has been stolen; you would like to volunteer
    • Use two different sources of information, e.g. telephone directory, website, community notices, to find out contact information for five community organisations
    • Present contact information for community organisations clearly and accurately e.g. telephone number, full address and website (if applicable)
