What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Collect personal equipment needed for a shopping trip (e.g. money, bag, coat, medication)
- Follow verbal instructions to make their way to a shop
- Follow and tick off items on a symbol shopping list
- Choose 2 additional desired items from the shop
- Follow verbal/gestural instructions to locate two items in the shop
- Exchange coins to pay for items
- Respond to a prompt to wait for the till receipt
- Work with support to pack items into a bag
