Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Ask a question to learn information from member of the group e.g. "what is your favourite football team?"
    • Listen to the response of others and use a tick chart to record their preferences
    • Using the chart, find a named person and state their preference
    • Create a simple bar chart showing the most popular sports or teams (with support where appropriate)
    • Recognise high frequency and CVC words when reading simple sentences about a chosen athlete or sport
