The learner can:
- Experience preparing for a community visit with support eg. repositioning, coats, bag packing, use of object of reference, signing, on-body signing
- Experience community visits with support eg. museum, art gallery, market, shopping centre, cafe, supermarket
- Explore sensory aspects in the community with support eg. sounds, sights, smells, touch, proprioception, vestibular awareness in the local area
- Communicate a like or dislike to aspects of community experiences through known facial expression, vocalisation or gestures
