The learner will:

  1. Experience activities focussed on looking after themselves. 

  2. Experience activities focussed on looking after the home.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Experience the sensory exploration of at least three different personal care activities with support eg. teeth brushing, hair styling, face washing, hand washing, shaving, dressing, preparing a cold drink​
    • ​Communicate a like or dislike to aspects of these experiences through known facial expression, vocalisation or gestures
    • Experience the sensory exploration of at least three different home care activities with support eg. washing or drying up, loading a dishwasher, washing clothes, vacuuming, dusting
    • ​Communicate a like or dislike to aspects of these experiences through known facial expression, vocalisation or gestures
