The learner can:

    • State the difference between a main meal and a snack
    • Identify at least five different main meals they could prepare for a week
    • Identify the ingredients required for at least five different main meals
    • Calculate the amount of each ingredient required
    • Identify which section within a supermarket each of the ingredients can be found
    • Create a list of ingredients, categorising by section
