Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Find the ray box in the cupboard
    • Place it on a flat surface
    • Safely plug it in to a power pack
    • Place a slit correctly
    • Switch it on
    • Shine a ray of light into a mirror so that its path can be seen on a piece of paper
    • Trace the path of the light ray on the paper
