The learner can:

    • Use leaflets, local directory or websites, to find information about two different types of shops in the local community with appropriate support
    • Match appropriate captions to images when exploring different types of shops
    • Pause at the full stop when reading aloud
    • Demonstrate consistent use of letter sounds when reading information about shops
    • Compose a list of items that can be bought from two different shops
    • Use a capital letter at the beginning of each sentence
    • Spell a range CVC words in their report
