The learner will:
Be able to show an understanding of what is meant by good hand hygiene.
Be able to demonstrate effective hand washing technique.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- State when they should wash their hands
- State why they should wash their hands
- Use visuals and follow demonstrations of good practice
- Use appropriate products and equipment (eg hot water, antibacterial soap/gel, paper towels) to wash own hands
