    • Show key aspects of appearance with practical support, using  key objects of reference eg hair, facial features 
    • Identify own gender  
    • Respond by head movement or vocalisation when own name is spoken by familiar person   
    • Respond by head movement or vocalisation when own name is spoken by unfamiliar person
