The learner can:

    • Use three different actions to explore materials or objects (e.g., shaking, stroking, banging, pressing, tipping, rolling, etc) with help as needed
    • Use a tool or materials to make marks with help as needed
    • Observe the results of their own actions with interest
    • Sustain concentration on exploration for short periods (30 seconds to 2 minutes) with help as needed
