The learner can:

    • Identify the elements of the fire triangle
    • Explain how the removal of each element will stop the fire
    • Explain what the triangle of danger is and cut tinder outside of it using a knife
    • Teach a peer or adult how to walk safely with a knife by their side
    • Teach a peer or adult how to pass and receive a knife safely to and from another person
