What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Use specific times to the nearest quarter of an hour to describe when different events in their day take place
    • Identify different activities that take place on specific days of the week
    • Match different months of the year to specific events such as holidays or festivals celebrated at home
    • Use directional language and symbols to describe where items should go in the room
    • Label items in the room to describe their position
    • Identify how items can be moved including rotation using half-turn, full-turn and three-quarter-turn
