The learner can:

    • Draw directional symbols such as arrows to create a set of instructions
    • Read directional symbols such as arrows to follow a set of instructions
    • Describe the position of landmarks on maps to support verbal directions
    • Decide on a purposeful question to ask peers and tally their responses
    • Calculate the frequency total from the completed tally
    • Create block graphs using this data
    • Answer questions about the block graph to communicate what it shows
