Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Collect basic equipment needed for a shopping trip (e.g. money, coat)
- Create a simple list
- Tick off items on a symbol shopping list
- Follow verbal/gestural instructions to locate two items in the shop
- Demonstrate appropriate behaviour and manners when interacting with a cashier to buy their items
- Hand over cash to pay for shopping items
