What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Greet staff on arrival at the chosen restaurant or cafe
    • Thank the server on receiving their table and menu
    • Tell the server what they would like to order
    • State any special dietary requirements they may have
    • Thank the server for taking their order
    • Check what others would like to order and assist with placing these orders
