What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Use three gross motor skills during construction play (e.g., lifting, crawling, hitting, pushing, reaching)
    • Use three fine motor skills during construction play (e.g., glueing, connecting, stacking)
    • Follow a simple visual with adult support to complete a step towards making a construction model
    • Use preferred communication device to select materials to use to build a construction model
    • Engage in a shared construction activity to build a model within a small group
