What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • State why it is important to warm up their body for exercise
    • State why it is important to cool down their body for exercise
    • Identify three different stretches
    • Identify three different exercises to raise their heart rate
    • Identify changes in their body after warming up
    • Identify changes to their body after cooling down
    • Hold three different static stretches for at least ten seconds
    • Take part in three different dynamic stretches for at least ten seconds
