The learner will:

  1. Be able to identify two post 16 options which will be on offer to them when they leave compulsory education.

  2. Be able to list  a support network available to assist with any Post 16 decision making.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Show the duration and location of each of the two options a positive and negative to each choice
    • Define what is meant by the term 'N.E.E.T'
    • Understand in basic language the importance of a back up choice to their first option
    • Outline one appropriate Post 16 options and identify ways of finding out more about it
    • Identify two points of support in or out of school that can help research and discuss the appropriateness of Post 16 choices
