The learner can:

    • Recognise where a drop kerb is by the change in road texture
    • Recognise that some safe crossings have traffic lights
    • Indicate the button that needs to be pushed at a crossing to change the lights
    • Indicate when to cross by listening for the sound
    • Indicate when to cross by looking for the green man
    • Identify a picture of their front door from a choice of three
    • Indicate the colour of their front door when given a choice of three colours
