Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify, collect and justify which personal belongings are needed for a shopping trip (e.g. money, bag, coat, medication)
    • Create a written list of items needed.
    • Make their way to the shop
    • Use a written shopping list to support shopping for items needed
    • Choose two additional desired items from the shop and state their total cost
    • Use shop signs to locate four items within the shop
    • Listen to the cost of the bill and select and exchange the correct coins/notes (either exact or covering amount)
    • Wait for till receipt and check it is correct
    • Check change (if given)
