- Identify the use of decimals in everyday situations on at least three occasions
- Identify the purpose of the decimal point in common measures on at least three occasions
- Use decimal places to identify the units of common measure on at least three occasions
- Use a calculator to solve problems which include whole numbers and decimals on at least three occasions
- Use decimal places to add and subtract decimals in column format on at least three occasions
