What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Recognise and use different hardware eg. mobile phone, tablet, computer
    • Use at least two different search engines to find information for work
    • Edit, save, retrieve and review a piece of work
    • Use a piece of software to meet a need or solve a problem
    • Send and retrieve files to a printer
    • Photocopy documents for two different purposes
    • Use and explain purpose for text message, voicemail and on-screen information in the workplace
    • Identify and correct errors in their work 
    • Produce work with images and text
    • Receive and open electronic messages
    • Locate important information from on-screen texts eg. emails, webpages
    • Use different means to record information
    • Adjust the format of information for different purposes in the workplace
