Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Carry our research into spring bulbs including how to care for different bulbs
- Choose at least three spring bulbs they would like to plant
- State two facts about each spring bulb they have chosen
- Identify two different places they could purchase bulbs from
- Choose where they will purchase their chosen bulbs from
- Purchase bulbs
- Demonstrate how to check bulbs for any damage
- Read and record information about a bulb prior to planting eg. the type of soil recommended
- Check they have appropriate baskets or pots to plant bulbs in
