Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify pipes to be used in a plumbing activity
    • Identify an elbow joint connector
    • Identify a 'T' joint connector
    • Follow simple step-by-step instructions eg photographic or diagrammatic, to construct a simple pipe run (with minimal support)
    • Join a sequence of pipes together using at least two elbow joint connectors
