What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify at least three different dishes they enjoy:
      • one starter
      • one main
      • one desert
    • Use recipe books or the Internet to find a recipe for each of the dishes
    • For each recipe, identify how many people the recipe is for
    • Use the unitary method, where necessary, to work out how much of each ingredient is needed for four people for each dish
