The learner will:

  1. Respond to activities to develop early mathematical skills in relation to transport and leisure.

  2. Take part in a transport survey at a local transport facility.

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Look at and explore numbers one two and three, written as numerals when discussing bus journeys
    • Follow directional language and adult prompts to move around the school environment to reach a specific destination
    • Make a collection of objects of different shapes and sizes which are used for different leisure activities
    • Participate in a transport survey to establish numbers of vehicles or trains over a set time period
