The learner can:

    • Count objects or items when shopping
    • Give out the correct number of objects/items within a group 
    • Count ingredients needed in a recipe
    • Calculate by adding the total number of items/objects when shopping
    • Calculate by subtracting the total number of items/objects when shopping
    • Calculate using either addition or subtraction when following a recipe
