The learner will:

  1. Be able to ask for items using a question starter. 

  2. Be able to answer a question from a choice of two options.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Ask for an item using the words ‘can I have… ' using a communication aid, speech or sign
    • Ask for two items in different contexts using the words ‘can I have ...  and .......' using a communication aid, speech or sign
    • Answer a question using Yes or No
    • Answer a question from a choice of two options, using communication aid, speech or sign (without pointing to correct option) 
    • Say thank you when receiving an item/s using communication aid, speech or sign
