What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Identify what daily checks you need to make on the flock
    • Identify what other less regular checks are needed, and why
    • Carry out daily checks on the sheep and report these to the supervisor
    • Describe at least three aspects of caring for sheep during the summer months
    • Describe at least three aspects of caring for sheep during the winter months
