Be able to conduct simple market research to determine which plants have a high demand locally.
Be able to sow, germinate, and grow at least three different plants from seed to 12 weeks old.

Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Create a questionnaire for market research purposes
- Carry out market research with the general public
- Use the market research to decide which seeds to grow
- Explain how to sow seeds and then follow their explanation to sow at least three different types of seed
- Care for their plants until they are 12 weeks old
