Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Follow a simple instruction to get ready for preparing a snack, e.g. washing hands, putting on an apron
    • Follow a simple instruction to prepare a work area for making a snack, e.g. wiping food preparation area, clearing surfaces

     

    • Identify at least three possible kitchen dangers, with support
    • Identify what to do if there is an accident, e.g. cuts, burns, spills, breakages, fire, with support
